DISCO Tech Registration

Monday March 30 - April 27

4pm-5:30pm

Each week in DISCO Tech, students will build on the basics of coding using teamwork, creativity and critical thinking. They’ll learn about programming, practice it for themselves, then apply their new skills towards the creation of their own games and animations.

This workshop has a limited number of supplies, and builds on skills learned each previous week of workshop. We ask for registered students of this workshop to be able to attend each session.

Suggested grade range: 2nd-6th.

Workshops are free to kids in the Birmingham area, but registration is required. Students may register to drop in for one workshop or attend all sessions. The grade levels listed above are meant as a guideline for parents to determine whether or not a workshop is suitable for their children. Students need to be able to read and write independently to attend DISCO workshops. Students are not permitted to use cellphones during workshops. DISCO follows the Birmingham City School Calendar and Closings.
